Had a quiet and relaxing break.

We easily found the cottage using the instructions given, parking was really good and off the track. Inside Nettlebush was clean and well presented. The kitchen is well equipped for two and everything works well. The bathroom is modern and very clean, water is hot and the shower is lovely ( remember to use the slip mat when using the shower) and the working towel rail is wonderful. Living room is spacious and comfortable, tv all works and the log burner fantastic and warms the whole house. The bedroom is a very good size and the bed is comfortable. Outside the seating area is nice and the freezer in the shed could be very useful. There are walks from the cottage detailed in the welcome pack and we followed one of these for a while before we noticed the rain coming lol. For walking, hiking or cycling this would be a wonderful base as it was for us to use as a base to visit local attractions. Nettlebush is a lovely peaceful place, we enjoyed the views from the cottage and saw a lot of wildlife. Communication with the owners was good and we had a nice chat. We can definitely recommend Nettlebush as a place to stay. P&J, June 26
