Overlooking the vast expanse of Prestwick's sandy beach and across the sea to Arran, this holiday house offers guests the chance to sit back and enjoy beautiful seascapes and dazzling sunsets once seen never to be forgotten!
With easy access to the beach, Links Quay is an excellent base for family holidays. Only yards away from Prestwick Golf Course, the property is also ideal for golfers. The Old Course was voted Best in Scotland in 2022 and is described as a ‘bucket list’ destination for golfers around the world. The award winning courses at Trump Turnbery and Troon are also within easy reach of Links Quay.
Prestwick is a popular destination and has excellent opportunities for eating out at the plentiful restaurants and cafes. In particular, and not to be missed, the Cafe Mancini with its award winning ice cream and close proximity to the beach, again minutes from the front door of the house.
Ayrshire is a superb area to explore both for its outstanding coastal landscape, stretching along the Clyde Coast and including sites such as National Trust for Scotland, Culzean Castle and beach, down steep steps but well worth the effort. Dumfries House is another stately home which should be on everyone's list to visit and, of course, Robert Burns Trails throughout the area provide a fascinating insight into past history, life and the poet himself.
Whilst there is more than enough to do in the local area, it is also very easy to take a day trip to Glasgow or Edinburgh with the main line railway station close to the house, allowing day trips to the principal cities of Scotland to be easily undertaken without the need to take a car. Day trips to Arran can also be easily managed with ferries from Ardrossan which is just a short way along the coast.

This is a great location to explore Prestwick and beyond. You are right on the esplanade with a fantastic beach view. As you leave the premises there is a coffee/ice cream place, great for the morning coffee. With a golf course next door and the train station a 2 min walk away. We left the duplex and were in Glasgow central within the hour (service every 20mins). Within 5 mins from the duplex you are in central Prestwick which has plenty of restaurants and pubs, plenty of activity on the weekend. The place itself is very comfortable and clean, the bedrooms are on the downstairs, living room (with amazing view) and kitchen upstairs. We spent some time in the surprisingly large garden after a long walk. It is well equipped and the kitchen is recently renovated. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly also. I am straining to think of any negatives - from the outside it isn't as beautiful as some of the other buildings in the area ? All in all highly recommended, great value for what you get.

Lovely view of the sea. House a bit neat for more than two. No dishwasher ! Not far from railway station. Town just a little bit further.

This is the third time we have stayed in this pretty house, so close to the beach, railway station, golf club and the town. The view from the living room window is amazing, especially when the sun is setting across the sea.
