A lovely cottage, perfect for the two of us for a break away to this very nice part of the coast. There isn't a lot to do in Girvan itself (which actually suited our purpose) but plenty to see in the surrounding area, whether that's beautiful countryside and coastline or nearby places of historic interest. I must mention the fab ice cream shop down the road and the bakers which is just round the corner from the cottage. The cottage itself is well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. And the welcome message from our host was a nice touch especially as it was dark when we arrived (it was the end of December!).
