    Set in a beautiful rural location with wonderful hill walks, taking in small lochs and stunning views direct from the door. Behind the cottage is the River Stinchar where salmon fishing can be arranged in season. The garden to the house is fully enclosed, and can be enjoyed from the decked veranda, complete with barbecue.

    The cottage is the perfect place to enjoy easy access to several excellent golf courses, including Turnberry, a thirty five minute drive. The area is good for keen cyclists with quiet back roads and Forestry Commission trails leading deep into the Galloway hills. With the coast near by sea fishing trips can be arranged from Girvan harbour, with fresh lobster and crab available from Ballantrae. This is an excellent base be it for those looking for a peaceful retreat, or one from which to pursue active outdoor sports or to explore the local history and culture. Culzean Castle(National Trust for Scotland) The Robert Burns Centre in Alloway & Dumfries House are within easy reach.

    The Cottage is surrounded by a working farm & sporting estate. The Studio cottage in the grounds is retained by the family & never occupied when the Mill is Let.

First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed and en-suite bathroom with toilet; Two twin bedrooms with adjacent facilites of bathroom including bath with shower attachment and toilet and a shower room with double cubicle, toilet and tiled floor.

    Damage Deposit for care of property
    All holiday-makers booking a holiday are required to pay either a Refundable Damage Deposit, £150 or as noted in the property listing details, or Damage Deposit waiver of £18, whichever is selected is required to be paid with the balance payment of the holiday. Where selected the Damage Deposit will be held by the property manager to be applied against the reasonable costs of repairs, replacement or additional cleaning of furnishings, kitchen equipment, crockery, glass, bedding and towels damaged or soiled other than by normal wear and tear during the holiday. The Damage Deposit, less any reasonable charges, will be returned within 14 days of the departure date. Where any costs exceed the Damage Deposit the holiday-maker will pay such excess as notified to them by the property manager within 14 days of notification. Where the holiday-maker has agreed to pay the Damage Deposit Waiver the Damage Deposit is not payable. This amount is non-refundable. If the cost of any damage or breakages exceeds the applicable Damage Deposit value for the property, then the holiday-maker will be liable for any additional costs. Any such excess will be notified to them by the property manager and due for payment within 14 days of notification.
