Very clean and nicely decorated without feeling like you couldn’t make yourself at home. Everything was well maintained and the garden was lovely with the hot tub. The water is changed between guests, so it was very clean. There’s a bbq for if the weather is decent enough, and the hosts left foodstuff and drinks in the kitchen to get us started - even a wee tray of food and some biscuits for the dog in a bowl they’d written his name on! There were robes and slippers, plenty of towels etc. My mum especially enjoyed the homemade tablet! Just lovely little touches like that - they clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. The cottage is super close to the beach for nice walks, and there’s a Premier nearby as well as Asda not too far away so you’re all sorted that way.
