About the property
Orchard View is an old, stone farm-worker’s house that has been renovated to provide contemporary accommodation suitable for a family holiday in the Scottish countryside. Situated on a hillside in the grounds of a working farm where pedigree sheep and race horses are bred, the cottage enjoys far-reaching views of rural Ayrshire with a private garden with hot tub to enjoy them from. With country walks, beaches and attractions such as Culzean Castle & Country Park not too far away, there is plenty to keep everyone happy, rain or shine.
The space
Orchard View is a self-contained property that’s all on one level and has a fenced off garden area, making it particularly suitable for families with young children. Decorated to a high standard with the walls painted in clean, cream and white tones, and soft furnishings in modern hues of blue, the cottage is contemporary yet homely.
There is a well-proportioned, open-plan kitchen/dining/living area where everyone can enjoy time together, whether that’s the kids drawing pictures at the breakfast bar/kitchen island whilst dinner is being made, watching TV together or enjoying breakfast at the dining table.
Orchard View has two bedrooms, each with a zip-link, king-size bed that can be made into two singles if preferred. There is also a luxurious family bathroom with a bath and separate shower cubicle.
Outside in the secluded, enclosed garden you will find the hot tub and outdoor dining furniture to eat alfresco whilst enjoying views over the farm’s orchard.
Guest access
The cottage is accessed via the farm’s private drive and there is an allocated parking area with space for two cars. However, extra parking may be possible by prior arrangement. On arrival you will be greeted at the cottage and shown around the property, including how to operate the hot tub.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you're legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
Security deposit: A security deposit of £150 will be charged prior to check-in and returned following your stay.
