Guests say

Island View is a stunning property in Ayr, praised for its spaciousness, amazing views, and friendly local amenities. Guests have enjoyed the well-equipped house, comfortable bedrooms, and extra touches like a hot tub and sauna. The large garden and proximity to a dog-friendly pub add to the charm, although there was a mention of weather-dependent enjoyment and a desire for a welcome pack.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with one review specifically noting it as 'spotless'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

The location is highly praised for its mesmerising views and proximity to local amenities, including a welcoming pub and restaurants. The convenience of a bus service and the tranquil setting in Dunure are also appreciated.

Guests have found the house very comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. The presence of ensuites and a bath with a sea view in the main bedroom contribute to the comfort level.

Facilities like the hot tub, sauna, and cinema room are highlights, though there was an issue with the hot tub not working initially. The garden and BBQ are positives, but the lack of a welcome pack and disturbance from nearby workmen are noted drawbacks.

The property's festive dressing for Christmas and the provision of a bottle of fizz and chocolates show thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided on every occasion.

Hot tub was broken when we first use it and needed a new part which didn’t come before we left so we were all disappointed as this was one reason we booked house.
