About Pinetree Cottage

A charming 3 bedroom property, Pinetree Cottage sits in an idyllic rural location at Ashkirk near Selkirk in the Scottish Borders.  An abundance of wildlife can be seen in the surrounding countryside - roe deer are often visible.  The cottage is semi-detached and the perfect mix of the modern and traditional, with a cosy log burning stove, a fully fitted modern kitchen, off road parking and free WiFi.  Well trained pets are welcome and guests have access to a superb onsite floodlit driving range.  A great golf course with restaurant and a village inn are all nearby.

Living Space

Pine Tree Cottage is beautifully presented throughout with a cosy lounge featuring a log burning stove.  Entertainment facilities include a TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player.

The kitchen diner is modern and fully equipped for self catering complete with an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and a tumble dryer.  There is a family dining table in the kitchen.  

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The cottage has three generously sized bedrooms including a ground floor master double with en-suite shower room and two upstairs twin bedrooms with access to a main family bathroom containing a shower.  

Facilities

High quality bed linen and towels are provided.  Beds are made up ready for arrival.

Utilities/ fuel are included in the property rental price.

A high chair and travel cot are available on request but please bring your own cot linen.

Logs for the wood burner can be purchased locally but during winter months we supply the first basket for free.

Well behaved dogs are welcome - please contact us in advance if you would like to bring a dog.

Pinetree Cottage is set in an idyllic rural spot surrounded by opportunities for fishing, horse riding, cycling, mountain biking and walking.  Keen golfers are welcome to enjoy the onsite three hundred yard driving range and Woll Golf Course is nearby.

The surrounding area is rich in wildlife including many species of birds and lookout for the occasional Roe Deer roaming past the cottage!  We are situated 50 miles from Edinburgh, 95 miles from Glasgow and 65 miles from Newcastle.
