Set six miles from the attractive Scottish Borders town of Melrose, The Mill House is a beautifully converted and luxurious property ideal for hill walking and exploring the area's famous historic attractions. Sleeping up to ten people, the property is perfect for two families holidaying together or larger groups.

Inside

This stunning converted farm steading has a spacious living area including a large lounge with floor to ceiling picture windows overlooking the lawn garden. There are five comfortable sofas, a large flat screen TV, coffee tables and a feature exposed stone wall. The dining area also offers views over the garden and provides seating for up to ten guests. The kitchen has a large electric cooker, integrated fridge/ freezer and plenty of small appliances, utensils and crockery.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

The stylish bedrooms are presented as two double rooms, including one with an ensuite, one twin room and two further rooms which can be arranged as doubles or twins as requested. Other bathroom facilities include a family bathroom with shower, a shower room and a wet room.

Outside

To the exterior, there is private parking and a secure garage ideal for storing bikes and other outdoor equipment. There is also a large enclosed lawn garden which can be accessed from the dining room area.

Availability

Short breaks, including three night stays starting on a Friday and four night breaks starting on a Monday, may be available during off peak times. 

Around and About

Situated just north of Melrose, The Mill House is conveniently located for the A68 which offers easy access up to Edinburgh for days trips or head one hour to the east to visit the beautiful Berwickshire coast. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing and golf nearby or enjoy walking along The Southern Upland and St Cuthbert Ways.
