About this property

Dating back to the early 1800s, Dryburgh Stirling One was once a folly built for an Earl, but is now a superb holiday property for up to four guests with magnificent views over the River Tweed.

With its turreted round towers and distinctive gate leading to the garden, Dryburgh Stirling One would be impressive in any location. But situated next to the River Tweed, makes for a magical holiday setting.

Although steeped in history, the cottage is very much up to date, with a richly decorated interior and modern touches including a wine fridge. The large sitting room has a cosy wood burning stove, while the dining room comes with a cheery open fire, so you’ll be warm and toasty whatever the weather. The property looks out onto a large lawn and raised patio, with the River Tweed beyond. You’re welcome to bring some rods and enjoy the fishing while you’re here.

At the end of a cul-de-sac, Dryburgh Stirling One puts you at the heart of secluded and romantic countryside, with important heritage sites nearby, including the medieval ruins of Dryburgh Abbey.

Also available to book at this site is Dryburgh Stirling Two (sleeps four guests). A short distance away are Dryburgh Farmhouse One (sleeps four guests); Dryburgh Farmhouse Two (sleeps four guests); Dryburgh Steading One (sleeps six guests); Dryburgh Steading Two (sleeps four guests); Dryburgh Steading Three (sleeps six guests) and Dryburgh Steading Four (sleeps four guests).
