Be welcomed into the spacious open-plan living area, where you can look forward to conjuring up delicious feasts for your loved ones in the well-equipped kitchen, ready to enjoy at the dining table for six. After a hearty meal, why not savour the last of the day’s sunshine out on the shared front courtyard where you can make plans for the days ahead with the stunning backdrop of Kelso Abbey.

There are a number of beautiful Georgian buildings in and around the Borders town of Kelso, which is situated at the confluence of the Tweed and Teviot rivers. Visit William Adam's Floors Castle, a well-known stately home complete with restaurants and gardens. Mellerstain House, Kelso Abbey, and the Kelso Races are all within a few miles of each other. Stunning examples of Georgian architecture can be found in Mellerstain House. The home of the 13th Earl of Haddington was designed by William Adam and his son Robert in 1725.

The owner was very helpful and great at communicating. The property location is excellent and within walking distance for everything you need in Kelso. The photographs probably don't do it justice either. The size of the accommodation is great and it was in great condition. I would highly recommend this place. There's so much to do in and around the Scottish Borders that we will definitely consider staying here again soon!

Very impressed from the moment we entered the property. The property is spacious and finished to an exceptionally high standard and Karen has thought of everything from the soft furnishing, elegant decoration, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen to the luxurious bathrooms. The photos on Sykes do not do this property justice. The location is perfect, in the centre of Kelso with views onto the Abbey. Karen kept in touch throughout the booking in process to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and left us a lovely welcome basket too. We had a fantastic weekend and are already talking about our next visit Kelso with the intention of staying in this property. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Kelso.
