Our stay was simply perfect. The cottage is splendid with a beautiful garden, homely decoration, fantastic facilities, and clean. The added touches of coffee sachets, biscuits, and tea bags- plus milk, for us upon arrival was a pleasant surprise and a factor we found above and beyond. There are games and puzzles left to enjoy at your leisure. Everything from washing facilities, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, pots and pans, cups and plates etc everything was there that you needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our dogs especially enjoyed playing in the garden. It was a joy to listen to the birds and cows. Also, we particularly loved the history of the place and enjoyed reading the folders left in the cottage for us to read. Overall, we would recommend to everyone. A perfect place nestled in the countryside, where you can enjoy peace and quiet, and also have short drives to some beautiful villages.

Relatively new, the cottage was very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Open countryside views to front and rear from the upstairs lounge and dining area. Quiet location in the countryside but central for short drives to a range of the small border towns and attractions offering shops, restaurants , etc.
