After nearly two miles on a single track (well made road though) you don't want to move the car again! However, that doesn't matter as a lovely wee house with everything you need for a cosy stay, but best bring some food etc with you. Sofa bed quite comfy (topper provided) and you can leave it made up as lots of loose cushions for day time lounging and looking at the views!Seals and pups in bays along coast walk, obviously no sea birds at this time of year, but lovely circular walking routes to do. Post office and one cafe were shut when we walked to St Abbs, but another one (school house) open.

It was magical. I went alone to do writing and I did loads. Went on walks, little trips locally and to Lindisfarne. It was warm and cosy. I was worried about the pull out bed as my hips are fragile. But no pains, and I was really happy at night. The views are fabulous, from the Flag House. It was such a happy stay for me

I absolutely loved my stay in this unique place! The views and surroundings were beautiful and despite being right next to a popular walking path, the cottage itself had a peaceful feel to it. The kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was clean and functioning, perhaps a bit cold at this time of the year so warm layers needed.
