Gerrick Cottage is a large bungalow, set on a hillside next to the owner's working arable farm, one mile above the village of Swinton in the Scottish Borders. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms - one super king-size double with en-suite bath, separate shower, basin and WC and three super king-size doubles which are zip and link, meaning they can be made up as twins if desired. The property also contains a bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC, and a wet room with walk-in shower, basin and WC. The living accommodation consists of a fitted kitchen with dining area, utility room, sitting room and large conservatory with French doors to the rear patio. Outside is ample off road parking, along with a lawned garden to the front and side with furniture and BBQ. With the amenities of Swinton just a mile away, with footpath access, and with a number of Borders towns and villages to discover within easy reach, Gerrick Cottage makes a great Borders cottage for a group of family or friends.

Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile. Note: Biomass heating uses straw from the farm.
Around and About
Swinton is a village in the Scottish Borders, 5 miles north of Coldstream and 7 miles from Duns. The area offers stately homes and castles, golf, fishing (including salmon) and walking. Scotland's east coast beaches are within driving distance as is the city of Edinburgh.
From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.
