Later, head inside to wash off the day’s adventures in the bathroom before catching up on some well-earned rest in one of three well-appointed bedrooms; choose from a super-king-size, a twin and an adult bunk room. Make unforgettable memories at Bank View. Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 2994, together sleeping 9 guests.

Set in an elevated position overlooking the River Tweed, the village of Chirnside boasts stunning views across the magnificent Cheviot Hills. This ancient settlement's history can be easily seen throughout the town and monuments include a 16th Century dovecote as well as a parish church, believed to date back to the 12th Century. Every summer, Chirnside plays host to the Jim Clark Rally, the only 'closed roads' race on mainland Britain whilst just nine miles away the Elizabethan coastal town of Berwick offers excellent shopping and dining facilities as well as an arts centre. Other activities in the local area include fishing, golf and riding, whilst the nearby resort of Spittal provides sandy beaches and seaside walks. With Edinburgh, Northumbria, and Holy Island within easy reach, this is an excellent holiday spot full of varied activities.

Great for local dog walks. It was really helpful that owners had described local dog walks in guest book.

Said she was not expecting our 1 year old toddler. When I booked I clearly selected the correct age. Advertising details are totally wrong as well .Advertised there as a cottage, but what we had was 3 bedroom very old dirty flat. Carpets are like so many years old and very old furnitures ,plaster board wall looks like still some construction work going on.There’s no extractor fan in the kitchen. She said they have not charge for cleaning so we have to clean everything under her inspection. She came at 9.45 before we checked out and ordered to get out bedding and clean everything which was so rude and annoying although we had cleaned everything nicely before she comes. We went for a holiday to enjoy with family. But we never expected this kind of nasty situation. We also have been in so many holidays all over the England and abroad. This is first time we face this type of miserable situation. She said if we need heating we need to contact her to get heating on . I don’t understand how people legally do this. Its should be automatic for certain temperatures specially for holiday houses. Luckily we didn’t bother as we on summer. They have mentioned about a privately car park. But car parking was on another side for only one car. Also to get in to the flat we had carry stuff through the road. There is back garden looks nice but as we are in a flat it’s pointless. Please don’t trust this first picture. That’s where we make the biggest mistake. They have uploaded this picture cheeky way . It is just back of house and 1 side gate is locked as well.basically we lost our holiday and money. I wouldn’t recommend to anybody this place
