The sofas and bed were really comfy, and the setting was so tranquil. We appreciated the info folder with all the local attractions/food places' brochures etc. We also thought the water bottle in the bedroom was a lovely touch. We definitely would love to return sometime!

It was clean and warm although upstairs was a bit cold as the bedroom wall heater was still broken. We took a fan heater with us anyway which helped to warm the room (there were also some in the cupboard to use). After about 5 minutes it warmed the room up and fortunately it wasnât too cold weather wise. The cottage is handy for Berwick and getting into the A1 which was about a 10 minute drive away and it was about an hour to Edinburgh. We enjoyed our stay at Gardeners Cottage and it suited our purpose which was visiting family locally.

Owner contacted us and was accommodating regarding charging my car - thank you. Heater in our bedroom was broken by a previous person. The heater in the bathroom was broken and the Wi-Fi was very intermittent. Everything else was great - thank you.
