This cosy, detached cottage is set in the small town of Pitlochry and offers an excellent holiday base for touring Perthshire, with the attractive towns of Blairgowrie, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy within easy reach. Glenshee, Scotland’s largest ski resort, is one hour away and a short walk from the cottage will give you a choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The property is just a few minutes from the River Tummel, famous for its salmon fishing. On the outskirts of the town lies an 18 hole golf course with wonderful views across the Tummel Valley. For family entertainment, the Pitlochry Festival Theatre is a must, Faskally Woods and Pitlochry Putting Green are also worth a visit. There are plenty of country walks and cycle paths with lots of wildlife to look out for including deer, wild birds and red squirrels. The historic town of Perth is only 26 miles away. Shop and restaurant 200 yards, pub 300 yards.

Stayed for a week and loved it. Very clean and it was way more spacious than the web site pictures suggested. Plenty of parking and space to turn around. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were comfy. The garden was lovely--dog loved playing fetch in it. Nice little vestibule by the back door to dry paws and remove boots/shoes before going in to the kitchen. Was able to watch Netflix on the tv. Superb location. Co-op store was only a 3min walk away and the High Street only 5min. Would love to stay there again!

One week just wasn't long enough! This cottage was fantastic from entrance to us leaving. Little care package in place for us arriving which was a lovely gesture and very much appreciated, thank you. Cleanliness and comfort was top marks! Beautiful location, surrounding by the hills, stunning to watch the morning mist lift to reveal the stunning scenery especially in Autumn, those colours were amazing. The enclosed garden was a superb space for our dog, who loved to patrol and play. Let's not forget those APPLES on the apple tree, wow! huge. Took a few an baked a little crumble - delicious, thank you. Overall this stay was just what was needed, following a hectic few months, totally switched off. We walked and walked in the stunning countryside. Cooked in the lovely large well equipped kitchen and played numerous games sitting at the table. The reading chair was very well used too. Thank you for the most wonderful stay. We love Pitlochry and the surrounding area but this cottage was top marks!!
