Our lodge was clean and a lot of fixtures and fittings felt new such as the kitchen. The shower was powerful and hot water good. Heating was decent. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we didnt feel cold despite low temperatures outside. We found the dining room to be too small and pointles whereas the living room had ample space so we turned the dining room into the 3rd bedroom by moving a bed in there and the table into the lounge. This really improved the layout of the lodge for a 3 adult party of friends. One significant negative is there were no terrestrial TV channels due to the satellite dish facing a tree. As far as I could see other lodges did not have this problem. I know nobody goes on holiday to watch TV but it is still nice to be able to have the telly on in the morning and evening and there were 2 FA Cup matches on BBC we werent able to watch. If this was solved then I could hardly think of any problems with the place.

Lovely comfy lodge, however it is in the middle of nowhere with no facilities at all., Tam who seems to look after the place is lovely and helpful. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The person I spoke to was rude and bossy. However the lodge was very comfortable with a good size kitchen and pretty well equipped. Bed and suite lovely and comfortable., I would book another lodge just not there.
