About this property

Glendoig is a fantastic detached, single-storey lodge set amongst Perthshire's pretty countryside, on the fringes of the charming village of Errol. The perfect retreat for two couples or a small family wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of life, Glendoig is not only set within the lovely countryside, but is within easy reach of Perthshire's idyllic coastline. Communal off-road parking greets you on arrival, where you can securely leave your vehicle before soaking up the gorgeous surroundings. Head into the property to discover a tastefully decorated open-plan living space that is brimming with natural light, thanks to the floor-length windows, and makes for a convivial spot. Settle down in front of the Smart TV after a long day and sip a glass of wine; all the while toasting your toes on the electric fire. Venture across the space to the kitchen to fix up tasty meals with the appliances provided, including a built-in microwave and a cooker, and serve them up on the sleek breakfast bar for all to enjoy. After dinner, why not venture to the enclosed back decking for a moment of peace and quiet as you watch the sun set over the far-reaching fields, before enjoying a relaxing dip in the neighbouring jacuzzi bath. As the day comes to an end, choose one of two doubles to sleep in, one of which boasts access to an en-suite shower room and also enjoys direct access to the bathroom with the jacuzzi bath. Further along the corridor rests the shower room; perfect for preventing those morning queues! Be sure to explore the site the lodge rests on, where a stunning lake can be found, ideal for angling enthusiasts! A fantastic break all year-round, choose Glendoig. Very comfortable and homely. We'd booked through a third party site however both the website & confirmation email advised would not have utensils/kitchen crockery. I'd called up to ask as was unsure if needed to buy own, but the property came with everything which was great & saved us the hassle but poorly advertised and we were informed via telephone they were 'unsure'. The beds were uncomfortable but the property was really clean and mostly slept on the sofas because they were comfier. No Internet/WiFi which isn't great as we couldn't utilise the TV service I.e. Netflix etc had to hotspot the TV from mobile phone & the connection wasn't great out there. Overall a comfy stay and would recommend for couples and they have larger lodges for families.
