Cart Shed is a newly renovated semi detached cottage enjoying breathtaking, uninterrupted views over open countryside toward the Lomond Hills. The interior of this wonderful property has been tastefully furnished and is very well appointed. The lounge has two marvellous large windows affording guests no other option than to sit back and enjoy the panorama. A lovely, cosy wood burning stove completes the tranquil ambience. The compact kitchen is well equipped with the benefit of a stunning view to boot! The double bedroom has a fantastic arched window, which was originally the opening of the doors into the cart shed. The cottage is part of a courtyard, one of three beautifully converted traditional stone built properties situated on a working farm at West Newton of Balcanquhal, only 2 miles from the pretty, rural village of Glenfarg where amenities include a shop, play park and tennis courts.

An Amazing view and beautiful Accommodation. Lots of nice places to visit nearby. Enjoyed watching the sheep, cows and swallows. Would recommend and consider returning in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Cart Shed, the property was very well equipped, cosy and comfortable, but the most outstanding part was the views, they were breath-taking. We had really good weather so was able to sit outside to eat our meals which made them extra special, whether it was breakfast, or evening meal.You are in the middle of nowhere, with just farms, fields, cows and sheep, which for us was perfect.The farmer told us about a nice 5k circular route, which we ran both clockwise and anti clockwise, which for us was excellent, on our last day we walked the route, just to see the views that you miss when you run.The hosts were very friendly, and helpful. This for us was a perfect week away, would highly recommend the Cart Shed, and hope to be back sometime
