Daisybank Cottage is highly praised for its comfort, stunning views, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the host, Colin, and the property's suitability for both pets and children. While some guests mention minor issues with location and amenities, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-maintained, with only one mention of the fireplace not being ready upon arrival. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the positive experiences reported.
The location receives mixed feedback. While many guests love the stunning views and proximity to local walks, some express concerns about parking and muddy conditions. The town of Crieff is mentioned as a pretty town with amenities, but one review suggests it has declined.
Comfort is a highlight in the reviews, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds comfortable. The property is also noted for being well-suited to guests with pets and children, enhancing the comfort level for a variety of travellers.
The cottage is frequently described as well-equipped and thoughtfully prepared for guests, including those with dogs. Facilities for toddlers are also mentioned positively. However, one guest's experience with the fireplace and lack of kindling slightly lowers the score.
Colin, the host, is commended for his thoughtfulness, providing welcome packs and being responsive to guests' needs. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

A warm cosy cottage with open plan living area with the lounge looking out across the views and garden. The historic market town of Crieff is just four minutes’ drive away where you will find a fantastic selection of local shops, coffee shops and tea rooms along with bars and restaurants. If you are feeling energetic then a trip to the Crieff Hydro is a must where there is a whole selection of activities on offer from alpaca trekking to Rifle shooting and treetop adventures to mention a few. Crieff is a popular town not only for its history of cattle droving but now famous for whisky and Glenturret Distillery. A visit to the Caithness Glass Visitor Centre as well is highly recommended.
Drive another twenty minutes, you will be able to enjoy day trips to the magnificent Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, or visit the attractive small villages in the area.
