The kitchen is well fitted out with everything you could wish for regarding equipment and cupboard space. It would be a little tight seating 4 people for meals but there was only 2 of us so it didn't cause a problem. The double beds are very comfortable and there are loads of wardrobe and cupboard space. The living room has two large comfortable settees and there is a good sized TV with the usual freeview channels. The heating uses biomass fuel in the boiler which at times can be temperamental but the owner is extremely helpful when or if any problems arise. All in all we had a very enjoyable week with lots of good walks, a visit to the seaside and an excellent day at Glamis Castle

Everything was just like home from home. Cosy, Comfortable accommodation which was very well thought out with brilliant attention to detail. The owners provides so much more than what is on the listing. Starter pack of dishwasher and washing machine tablets, washing up liquid, rubbish bags, cling film, tin foil, kitchen roll etc. You will find plenty of hand washing soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash for personal use along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The log burner is such a lovely asset for the cottage, nothing beats watching the roaring fire whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Although only given a very small starter pack for the fire, additional wood can be purchased from the local garage, home bargains and country store. If I could give one suggestion it would be to add coat hooks outside beside the hot tub to allow the guests to hang up dressing gowns or towels whilst using the hot tub (by no means a criticism, just a suggestion). Vicky the owner was absolutely lovely and also very friendly and answered any queries we had in a timely manner. She gave clear instructions for both finding the property and the keys along with a full set of instructions and any information required whilst inside the property. Some lovely walks nearby. And local shops not far from the property. We will definitely return and highly recommend the cottage

The bed in the larger front bedroom needed a new mattress too as springs could be felt. Other bed was fantastic! Everything else was great
