Craigrossie Cottage is situated right in the heart of Auchterarder, with a mile long high street where there are pubs, excellent places to eat, award winning coffee shops, deli and local shops and fine boutiques all within walking distance. Nestled in the owner’s well-kept garden, this detached cottage benefits from driveway parking and has a bright and airy ambience. Well-furnished and well-presented throughout, with plenty of space for everyone, guests will find themselves in a real home from home. All conveniently on one level, the comfortable living/dining room has patio doors leading to a patio with garden furniture, ideal for relaxing after a day exploring. The kitchen has a breakfast area and is well equipped with a double oven and 5-ring gas hob and a coffee machine. There is a kingsize bedroom, twin bedroom and a family shower room.
If you like a round of golf on your holiday there are fifteen courses within 15 miles of Craigrossie Cottage, with the world renowned Gleneagles Resort just over a mile away. This area of Perthshire offers outdoor activities to suit all tastes, and is surrounded by spectacular scenery, walking, cycling and mountain biking in the Ochil Hills. For days out the spectacular scenery of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are within an hour’s drive, with lochs and mountains to explore. The historic city of Stirling with its castle and visitor attractions can be reach in half an hour and is well worth a visit. Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow are within easy driving distance, or you can take the train straight into the heart of the cities if you prefer to leave your car behind. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 200 yards.

We had a lovely stay at Craigrossie Cottage. It is very central, walking distance of shops, very clean and tidy and cosy. It is fully equipped with everything we could have required. It is in a very quiet location. Room for two cars to park off road. The Auchterarder community are very friendly.

The cottage was well laid out and quiet (away from road) with parking next to cottage. All amenities you may require were provided. The locals were friendly and there were bars, restaurants, shops all reasonably close. If required there are also a couple of cash points for you to withdraw money. As a base to use for your interests it is ideal or just for a place to laze around and do nothing.
