Bugaboo Cottage in Aberfeldy is highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like shortbread and milk, and find the location ideal for exploring the local area. The property is described as cosy with underfloor heating, and the proximity to a pub and scenic walks adds to its charm. While there are minor maintenance issues, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently report that Bugaboo Cottage is clean and tidy, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. One review mentioned dirty bedroom walls, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst overall excellent feedback on cleanliness.

The cottage's location is frequently commended for its proximity to Aberfeldy and local attractions. Guests enjoy the nearby walks and the convenience of a pub within walking distance. The location is deemed perfect for exploring the surrounding area, contributing to a high score.

Comfort is a standout feature in the reviews, with guests finding the beds incredibly comfy and the cottage cosy, especially noting the underfloor heating. The spaciousness and the provision of ample towels and linen also contribute to the high comfort level experienced by guests.

The cottage is well-equipped for guests, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample space. A drying room for clothes is appreciated, and the presence of three bathrooms is a plus. However, a non-working microwave and a lack of secure Wi-Fi lead to a slightly lower score.

While guests mention thoughtful gestures such as the provision of shortbread, milk, and local walk information, these are not consistently referenced across all reviews. As such, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness, and the score is set to null.

The cottage was lovely with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. A lovely double room with ensuite , and two other very nice twin rooms both with on-suite bathrooms. As a fisher it was handy to have the drying area for wet waders and boots. The underfloor heating was very pleasant and the shower has more than enough pressure which is always a positive. I would stay again.

Such a lovely place - very spacious but cozy, mountain view in the distance, 5 min walk from pub, comfy rooms/beds and the underfloor heating was delightful!!!! 5 stars for the owners as well, who put up a xmas tree and decorations for us and when we couldn't check out on time due to car trouble in a storm, they were very understanding and offered help which was so kind in a stressful moment with infant and toddler. Everyone loved it. We will definitely be back!

The location, with easy parking, was perfect for us to revisit some of our favourite places. The beds were comfortable. we slept well after exploring locally and further afield. The shortbread biscuits were much appreciated and enjoyed. Overall a most successful and enjoyable return to Scotland !
