Ideal for a family of up to six or a small group, looking to base themselves in the heart of Central Scotland is Seven Seasons. The property itself comfortably sleeps six in the three bedrooms, one super king size, one king size and one twin. The living room which opens through to the dining room is the ideal social space, complimented by a large TV and wood burner for those chilly days. The bathroom has a four-piece suite with separate shower and bath. Outside there is the garden which is surrounded by fields, here guests can enjoy looking at the horses and when it’s lambing time cute little lambs; don’t be surprised to see the odd one wandering round the garden either, it is located on a farm after all.

This was the second time we've stayed in the property. It's very well maintained and Agnes is an extremely friendly and helpful host. It's spacious and very peaceful with the horses in the neighbouring fields.

We had an amazing week at Seven Seasons. The cottage really does have everything you need, even a variety of spare charging cables & USB ports! There’s lots of information leaflets on places to go. The kitchen had everything you’d need, lots of pans, dishes, bowls, baking trays & even weighing scales. There is a separate undercounter freezer in the utility room and an undercounter fridge with icebox in the kitchen. Everything that was there was in great condition (not just scratched old cookware that was only good for the tip!!) The location was great for what we wanted, lots of things to do such as the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Loch Lomond, Edinburgh, Stirling….all within an hours drive. The cottage was about 10 minutes from Airdrie which had a variety of supermarkets and high street shops for stocking up and a number of takeaways which delivered to the cottage. The grounds are secure for both dogs and children (under supervision of course) and there are a number of scooters and toy ride on cars for little people. The TV had a basic Sky package so any subscription packages could be accessed (just log out when leaving) The cottage was beautifully clean and the beds were so comfortable and the bedrooms also had lots of storage in them. It was so quiet and peaceful and the views are amazing. I’d never get tired of looking out of the windows. The hosts are on site and very helpful if needed (we didn’t have any problems)We’ve stayed in lots of cottages over the years but this is definitely the best yet. My only regret was not getting to use the log burner……maybe next time
