We loved the furniture and quirky layout of the inside. We spent every morning and evening sitting on the balcony overlooking the brook. Great location for the coast and islands as well as hiking on the hills we could see from the kitchen window. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

We loved every night in the Snug, even though we struggled to get up! The terrace with the babbling brook was lovely and peaceful. Nothing negative to say, except maybe parking away from the property. We had meals on 2 evenings at the Village pub where the food was very good and the hosts welcoming, so would recommend. Would also recommend the local Kelburn Castle, lovely place to visit and only £5 A nice base for trips to Arran, Largs and Loch Lomond

The living/sitting room was miniscule with beanbags instead of chairs/sofa. The TV didn't have the normal channels or Sky, with only Netflix or old news to watch. Although soft lighting is pleasant to the eye in the sitting room and bedroom, a stronger central light would have been preferable. Most of your properties have 6 or more photos of all rooms, Clover Neuk had only one of the outside, not good enough. Although Fairlie, Largs & surrounding area was most enjoyable with the best of weather, we will not be recommending the property to friends and relations. £600 + was extortionate for a week to be forgotten. We will not be booking any more Sykes holidays.
