I want to thank you and your team on a truly wonderful experience for my wife’s surprise 50th birthday destination celebration. When I came up with the idea of hosting a destination celebration for 35 friends and family at an estate in Scotland, it was daunting to think of the details of how to pull it off and ensure that our guests had a great time. I can now say that my anxieties of committing a large group of different people, traveling from all over the United States and World, to an estate that I never visited, was completely unfounded. The four-day experience was everything I had dreamed and envisioned it would be. The menu and the quality of the meals was outstanding. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to all our guests. The estate and property was beautiful. Driving up the private road and seeing the estate for the first time provided the awe factor I was hoping. Your itinerary recommendations over the four days provided something for everyone, especially the ice-breaker on the first night with the murder/mystery dinner. I did not have to worry about anything or any detail; you handled it all. Our guest loved the experience, and for some, it was a trip of a lifetime. Have a wonderful New Year!

WOW !! We are struggling to come down to earth having just spent the most unforgettable, magical weekend at Braehead Estate. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The discrete, friendly team that worked tirelessly all weekend to anticipate our every need – be it a fresh pot of coffee after a morning walk or warm soup after standing in the rain during the Falconry display. The attention to detail was superb and yet the atmosphere created was one of a home from home – think Downton Abbey not boutique hotel. Formal dinners, informal lunches, barbecues (in the pouring rain) everything was organised with perfection and the food is excellent! The house is fantastic – a great rambling pile, with multiple staircases, corridors and charming bedrooms. The beds are to die (or rather sleep!) for – many of our friends commented that they had never slept on such comfortable mattresses….i think we would all have smuggled them home had we been able! The reception rooms are beautiful and at the same time homely; filled book cases, family portraits & a fabulous piano. I loved the boot room – complete with a full array of wellies and parkas to entice us into the grounds which are spectacular. Clearly a park for centuries, the maturity and splendour of the vegetation is breathtaking: alleys of grand beaches, caverns of rhododendron and gunnera, giant laburnum, stunning copper beach, rows of Wellingtonia and the whole wrapped in the excess of green growth that is so spectacular in this temperate rainforest. The formal gardens are immaculate, the borders beautiful and the hedges trimmed to perfection. In fact perfection is the only adjective that works for our weekend at Braehead Estate. I cannot recommend it highly enough! Thank you to all the team for making our weekend so incredible.

The planning of our 25th Anniversary and Vow Renewal from California would have been impossible without Annie’s support and attention to detail. Her assistance was instrumental in ensuring that my vision for the day was just as I dreamed. She pulled it all off with a smile on her face. She worked with me for over a year planning and communicating with vendors. She never once told me something couldn’t be done, she just found a way to make it happen. Blair was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate 25 years together and to be able to share that with our family and friends. Annie and her staff were kind and attentive and made our entire stay lovely and stress free. We were fortunate enough to share this wonderful experience with our group of 10 family members and friends for 5 days. Our grandkids loved having the run of the house and exploring the grounds. All our guests enjoyed their stay and exploring the gardens and walking the gorgeous grounds daily. The mini-highland games were a big success and had us all laughing and enjoying the tradition of the Scottish Highland Games. The food was fantastic and plentiful. The chef provided outstanding meals throughout our stay. This was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The entire staff was always pleasant, personable and professional. It never felt like they were just doing a job, it was obvious the entire staff thought of this as more than just a job, it was their home as much as the owners, and the pride they have in it is clear in their care, and not just the house and grounds but of the guests as well. Our time at Blair was beyond what I imagined it would be. It truly felt like it was our home, fully staffed to meet all of our needs, wants, and wishes. We were sad to say goodbye.
