Juniper House sits in the magnificent Valley of Plusgarden looking out onto Califer Hill, just a few miles from the glorious beaches of the Moray Firth, which is renowned for its colony of seals and dolphins. The Moray area enjoys a favourable climate as it benefits from the warmth of the Gulf Stream. Juniper House offers space to rejuvenate the spirit and is a balm for the soul. Enjoy big beautiful skies and watch the local wildlife, deer and birds of prey, from the comfort of your armchair. Juniper House is a luxury, well equipped, self-catering property that is ideal for families looking for fun and adventure or for a group of friends who wish to enjoy the wonderful country pursuits that the area has to offer. Juniper House has been designed for you to enjoy those special social occasions, or to just ‘be’. The nearest facilities are only a five minute drive away in the Royal Burgh of Forres offering a mix of traditional and modern shopping. The area has some wonderful restaurants to meet all types of dining experience.

This warm comfortable house sits on the Dava Way and the Speyside Whisky Trail, in Moray. On your doorstep you have Findhorn bay, popular for sailing and water sports activities and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, or head to Lossimouth for surfing and great ice-cream. A few miles further to the South, is the stunning Cairngorm National Park which boasts winter and summer activities for all the family: skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, climbing, or simply enjoying the hundreds of beautiful walks through this spectacular area of Scotland. A 10 minute drive south from Juniper House will take you to spectacular white water rafting on the river Findhorn. Juniper House is ideally located for fishing enthusiasts for fishing on the river Findhorn or the Spey. If you enjoy a round of golf there are a number of championship golf courses for you to try. This historical area is surrounded by beautiful castles and whisky distilleries that will intrigue any visitor.

Spend the day exploring nature’s natural playground along the beaches, caves and coves of Moray Firth, then watch the sun go down and see seals and dolphins along the way.

Nearby Forres has a selection of shops and supermarkets for you to stock up for your stay at Juniper House. There are also some great places to eat nearby including The Kimberley Inn, The Copper Dog and The Mosset Tavern.

If you’re feeling adventurous go white water rafting with Ace Adventures on the Findhorn River.

There are some fantastic attractions nearby including the Landmark Forest Adventure Park, the Highland Wildlife Park and the Strathspey Steam Railway.

Follow the Malt Whisky Trail to discover the secrets of the malt whisky country and experience the very best of Scotland in beautiful Moray Speyside.

The grounds of Gordon Castle, on one of Scotland’s finest sporting estates, offer excellent opportunities for deer stalking or try your hand a salmon fishing along the beautiful River Spey.

See an abundance of wildlife along Moray coastline with North 58° Sea Adventures. A unique chance to see dolphins and seals up close.
