We had the pleasure of staying at Muir town Lodge in Keith, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The lodge is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and set in a peaceful rural location that feels wonderfully relaxing. The interior is modern and comfortable, with everything you need for a stress‑free stay, and the attention to detail really stands out. air source heat pump took a bit of getting used too. but heat was supplemented by a large wood burner in the lounge.the large tv in the lounge was a great bonus and also the tv in the master bedroom was a positive to catch up on the days news while still in bed.coffee machine and a great selection of pods was available from the owner.Bruce our golden retriever loved his stay at the lodge. very handy fenced in garden allowed him to go out and smell the nature.the wood burning hot tub was a welcome addition to the rental but it does take a little bit trial and error to get the hot tub to a manageable temp. top tip we required around three fires to obtain a satisfactory temp. the next day the temp of the tub was warm and required 2 fires to heat water. incidentally the logs are provided for the fire and hot tubThe setting is perfect for exploring Keith, Speyside, and the Moray coast, yet still offers complete privacy and quiet. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind instantly—whether you’re enjoying the views, settling in for a cosy evening, or heading out to discover the local area. a word of warning don’t go near the bakers in keith (Harry Gow) If you value your waistline. cream meringue to die for and a great selection of pies etc.We left feeling refreshed and very well looked after. Muirtown Lodge is a real gem, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

We had a lovely February break at Muirtown lodge. We loved the style of the house and some nice country views. Enjoyed the hot tub too. Karen who owns it was lovely too and enjoyed our treats when we arrived. HomemadeShortbread and salted Carmel fudge. Would definitely go back there.
