Don your walking gear and stride out to hike along footpaths, through forests and up hills, including nearby Meikle Balloch. Venture 12 miles up to the coast at Portgordon, where you can walk on the beach. At Spey Bay, 14 miles away, you can visit the dolphin centre, where there are viewing points for watching pods out in the sea. Golf lovers can bag themselves a game at Buckpool, 13.5 miles away, or Maverston, 16 miles away. Whiskey enthusiasts have plenty to keep them busy too with the 39-mile Speyside Whisky Trail on the doorstep.

Cross the deck to slide open the glass doors and step inside the delightful bolthole.
