About this property

If you're looking for a rural Moray hideaway, this delightful open-plan studio is perfect for singles, couples, or a small family of three; it's also entirely accessible for those with limited mobility. After parking to the rear of the properties, walk up the ramp onto the shared covered decking with the studio next door, remove your outdoor shoes as you wander onto the oak flooring inside, and be taken in by the charming open-plan living space, where a kitchenette provides a good selection of appliances, including a combi-microwave/oven, perfect for fixing up easy meals. When meal is ready, sit at the table inside and enjoy the views outside via the wide south facing windows, or head outdoors, where the communal decking and lawn are perfect for alfresco meals. The living/dining space, with its sofa and large pillows, is a fantastic place to unwind and relax while catching up on the day's happenings. Curl up in one of the twin beds at the end of the day, or request that they be zipped together to become a king-size bed beforehand. The sofa may also be used as a single bed, making it suitable for a youngster or an extra visitor. The magnificent wet room with walk-in shower completes the property's interior, allowing you to take revitalising showers while your towel warms up on the neighbouring rail. On-site, you may buy freshly grown organic food and home-made gourmet ready meals. Alternatively, pique your interest and reserve a spot to try your hand at basket weaving or spend a fun, engaging morning on the farm learning about birds and animals. Purchase tickets to join others for a catered Pop-Up dinner, a Mama Circle morning, or a craft and food fair on the farm. A plethora of footpaths are within easy reach of the farm, which can be access by Joining the Dava Way, which goes from Forres to Grantown-on-Spey and will also take you the short distance to Dallas Dhu distillery, one of the sites to visit for a tour and a taste along the famed Malt Whisky trail. Spend the day on the beach with your family in Findhorn, Hopeman, or Roseisle, or any of the other peaceful sandy beaches around the Moray coast. The lovely seaside community of Findhorn, with its natural harbour, pubs, and award-winning slow food café, is a great place to start or finish your day. Visit the Findhorn Foundation Eco-village, which has an intriguing history, a variety of interesting structures, and a full food store. Discover the incredibly magnificent River Findhorn at Randoph's Leap or immerse yourself in local forests surrounded by gigantic oaks and pines. Other area attractions include superb fishing and golfing, mountain bike paths for all levels of experience, calm roads for cycling, boat cruises, dolphin viewing, wild swimming, and water sports. A stay at Oak enables you to discover Scotland like never before, with easy access to the Highlands, Speyside, and the stunning Cairngorm National Park. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 1085994, 1088673 and 1088672, together sleeping up to 12 guests.

Forres, one of Scotland's oldest tiny towns, is home to a slew of historical landmarks, museums, and castles, as well as expansive green spaces and multiple award-winning gardens. There are two distilleries in Forres, and another five within a reasonable distance, making it a perfect starting place for the Malt Whisky Trail. In addition to two golf courses, Forres provides outstanding fishing options. It's a terrific place to stay if you want to see the charming fishing towns dotting the north east coast of Scotland, and it's only 27 miles from Inverness, the Highlands' capital. Cawdor and Brodie Castles, Culloden Battlefield, and Fort George are all within reasonable distance.
