For an unforgettable escape to Scotland, look no further than Aurora View. EPC Rating: Band C

In the past, Findhorn was a bustling fishing port, and it still maintains strong ties to the sea, with a large portion of the village's activities centred around the bay and the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club situated on the waterfront.

The Gulf Stream's influence on the area's mild climate makes it a popular tourist destination. The Findhorn Foundation's Ecovillage and international centre for holistic education are perhaps its most well-known features.

. Findhorn a beautiful place, beaches are amazing, lovely walks a long the beach, lots of places to go,Culloden not far,Inverness by train,Elgin,Lossiemouth,& lots more!!,fabulous places to eat highly recommend the Crown & Anchor pub in Findhorn,& the Bothy in Burghead,so much to do & see, loved every minute Our apartment Aurora View, had a lovely stay, the apartment has stunning views looking out to sea,& the grounds are lovely, saw the deer a few times!!,the only grumble we had,the apartment looks a bit tired in places,& could do with a decorate, kitchen cupboard door was loose,& sometimes difficult to open,& we didn’t sleep well either, the mattresses were a bit lumpy,& sloped slightly,we get the fact that lots of other people have slept in them,as well, but maybe they need a topper to be more comfortable,.Didn’t spoil our stay, just would have liked to have slept better than we did.

1-During our stay we experienced cold high winds, the flat is an open living area with kitchen, dining and living area in the same space. The cold high winds caused a very strong draft to come through the extractor fan resulting in a very cold living space, boosting the heating was not sufficient enough to counteract the draft. 2-My wife and I work hard and save our money to enable us to take a holiday and get away from the stresses, strains and chores of everyday life. I received an email from you the day before our holiday was over directing that we remove all bedding, sheets, pillow cases duvet covers etc and place them in the bath. I did complete the tasks you asked (after getting grief from my wife) but I am not happy about this. Surely you employ a cleaner who comes in after guests leave to ensure the flat is clean and ready for the next guests, is that not why check out is at 10 and check in at 5? I do take a holiday expecting to do the job of a cleaner or anyone else.

Deer in the gardens and Dolphins and seals nearby. A chance to see the Northern lights if you are lucky. Could do with a four slice toaster as a two slice is not practical
