Yardie View is a beautifully presented seafront cottage in Buckie, highly praised for its immaculate cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and stunning sea views from every window. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and modern amenities, making it ideal for relaxing breaks and exploring the Moray coastline. The host receives frequent commendation for excellent communication and attention to detail. While the shower arrangement under the eaves is noted as a minor drawback, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.
The cottage is consistently described as spotless, pristine, and immaculately clean by numerous guests. Only one review mentioned finding some pet hair, but this was a rare exception. Overall, cleanliness is a standout feature.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the sea, beautiful views, and easy access to coastal walks and local amenities. Guests love the peaceful setting and the opportunity to spot dolphins and enjoy sunsets from the cottage.
Guests frequently mention the cottage's cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, quality furnishings, and effective heating. The only minor comfort issue raised was the limited space at the breakfast bar and the shower under the sloping roof.
The cottage is well-equipped with modern amenities such as fast WiFi, streaming services, and a log-burning stove. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering, though a few guests noted the absence of a dishwasher and the awkward shower setup.
Many guests mention generous welcome packs and thoughtful extras such as local treats and household essentials. While these gestures are highly appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

We loved the area. Lots to explore nearby eg Moray Trail, coastline, villages, harboursNeighbours were super friendly and welcomingGreat communication with Mark Happy to recommendHouse is clean and well furnished (NOTE - no dishwasher. And, ideally, would have preferred to stand up in the shower, but appreciate it's a sloping roof)

Lovely little cottage. Welcome hamper on arrival much appreciated. Cupboards stocked with lots of extras like condiments, tin foil and toilet roll which is very handy. Bedrooms spacious and comfy with enough storage for a week of clothes. As it’s a small cottage the taller people need to be careful of bumping heads! Only downsides are, could tell a dog had been in the house previously as was some hairs ended up on our jumpers from the sofa and the shower is also not usable as such. I know the roof slants a lot but I feel the shower fixing could easily be repositioned that it could be used as a shower even for the kids or by crouching a bit. Surrounding area is lovely and could sit and watch the sea for hours from the living room window. Gutted we never seen any dolphins this time.Overall lovely cottage, great for a couple or small family to have a break away :)
