Number 12 is a traditional family home in the beautiful harbour village of Portknockie. The Three Creeks, which are the small creeks or inlets on the coast can be found just a few strides at the end of the road, and just a bit further along is the famous Bow Fiddle Rock.

Inside, the accommodation is spacious and ideal for families or small groups looking to stay and take advantage of what the area has on offer. The large living room has plenty of comfortable seating, whilst a handy downstairs bedroom and shower room is useful for guests who may not wish to manage the stairs. A further two bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor. The large sunny garden to the rear is enclosed, making it safe for children to play in, and the utility room will come in useful for those days when a change of clothes may be necessary!

Most days, you can enjoy lunches and evening meals in the hotel in the village. Portknockie, which has an award-winning fish and chip shop, is a real gem in the heart of the Buckie coastline. With dramatic and ever-changing sea views, it is a wonderful place for walkers and those who love to take in the local scenery. The neighbouring village of Cullen, about 2 miles away, is worth a visit. Why not try the local delicacy of cullen skink while you are there?

If you are a keen golfer, then there are several courses within easy reach. The working fishing town of Buckie is about 5 miles away, and from here you can take a boat trip to search for the Moray Firth dolphins. Or, further afield at Spey Bay, you will find the popular Scottish Dolphin Centre and Nature Reserve. The famous Speyside Whisky Trail is also within easy reach and should not be missed.Shoreline 200 yards. Shop and pub 200 yards,Harbour/paddling pool 800 yards, shop, pub-hotel 200 yards restaurant 2 miles.

    Excellent holiday, made even better by beautiful weather. House very comfortable and spacious. Portknockie is a great centre for exploring the Moray coast, which has has many picturesque villages, beaches and harbours.
