We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old Granary. It was clean & well maintained. The position by the river is wonderful. The location allowed us to explore the Cairngorms easily. Our hi light was walking to the Ballindalloch Distillery for a tour and tasting session.

The cottage was lovely and clean, comfortable and well presented. Set in idyllic scenery right on the edge of the Speyside Way. The hosts had provided all the essentials and had a comprehensive welcome email. I would say that the recommendations on where to eat may need updating but other than that - highly recommended.

Fabulous place, perfect location for outdoor activities. Whisky trail, or just peace and quiet. Very well equipped kitchen. Shower upstairs was fabulous, bedrooms spacious. Couldn’t really fault it, if there’s one thing missing it’s a wood burning stove. But that’s a minor. We’re definitely coming back in 2026 👍👍
