Set in the village of Mey near Thurso with distant views of the Castle of Mey (a favourite of the Queen Mother) and the Pentland Firth from some of the top floor bedrooms, this is a truly fantastic area of Scotland that is well worth exploring. Hop on a boat trip to spot some wildlife from the rugged cliff face at Dunnet and you may even be lucky enough to be joined by a pod of dolphins or bob of seals. The NC500 route runs right past the property, making it an excellent pit stop along the way.
