The property is in a good location for exploring the east coast of Scotland being close to the A9. The property would benefit from a deep clean but it did have had fresh clean bedding and the towels were clean and fresh if a bit on the small side. A couple of things to bear in mind if you are taking pets or children is that the property is located next to a fast road and the garden is not enclosed or secure and the walk to the beach is on the road as there are no footpaths.

This wood cabin is amazing. It’s set in a really quiet location that is easily accessible from the main road. Simon is friendly and welcoming and has lots of information of the local area and places to visit. It was so lovely waking up in the morning and listening to the birds singing and watching the swallows swooping and lots of baby birds learning to fly. The beaches nearby are quiet have some interesting rock pools and we saw dolphins at Balintore while we were walking our dog. This was just one of the highlights of our holiday. If you are into horses we went to a local riding school and hired horses for a woodland and beach ride where we enjoyed a good gallop along the beach. I really relaxing holiday in a beautiful area with lots of local history and the standing stones that are scattered around the area are very interesting. Thank you Simon. We will definitely like to come back another year. “Did I mention dolphins!” lol
