Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. On The Beach is superb modern detached house situated right on the seafront in the pretty fishing village of Balintore. This stunning architect-designed house will appeal to families and groups wishing to enjoy the ultimate beach holiday. The main living room is on the first floor. It has its own balcony, maximizing the stunning panoramic views across the sea and along the sandy beach. There are four generously proportioned bedrooms (three with en-suite facilities, and a separate family bathroom). The spacious master bedroom also has a dressing room. The downstairs kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped with all modern appliances and the dining room is separate. Balintore and the adjoining seaside village of Shandwick are completely unspoilt and provide idyllic seaside holidays without the crowds. Dolphins, seals, porpoises and a wide variety of seabirds are seen in the locality. The village has a local store, pub, café and restaurant, all within a short walk from the property. Further facilities are available in the nearby town of Tain.

We have stayed in this cottage for 1 week every year since almost the beginning. The house is ideal for blended families, we are 3 generations and we all have our own space and more importantly bathrooms. We all love the house and the position it sits on is to die for. Really appreciate the new upstairs couches, very comfortable and everything well maintained. I have one request if possible, the family upstairs bathroom has no where to lay things except the small cupboard under the sink and the shower has no shelves to put sponges and soap on. They provide Shampoo, Conditioner and Soap but we bring our own and it has nowhere to go. A minor complaint, but it would help enormously. Love this house and the location, many thanks for allowing us to enjoy it.

Excellent location and perfect accommodation. A beautiful property with great facilities.Locally, the Shore Inn/Hotel is perfect for a beer overlooking the marina.A great beech to explore, however travel to Dornoch and Embo, excellent expanse of sands

What a Fantastic House, right on the Beach, lovely views and a well equipped Spacious Property, an ideal base for touring or even just staying put, 2 x Hotels, 1 x Cafe, Spar shop and Post office too.We have been here already and this was a return Visit, and more planned, people in the village very friendly and all there dogs are so well behaved on the Beach, plenty of walks along the sand or along to see The Mermaid of the North.Balintore is such a wonderful place.
