Guests say

Grieve's Cottage in Tain is highly praised for its spaciousness, stunning scenery, and secure garden, making it ideal for dogs. Guests love the hot tub and the warm Scottish welcome from the hosts. The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as clean and well-kept, with one even noting it as spotless. There is a single mention of some scum in the hot tub, but this seems to be an isolated comment.

The location is celebrated for its outstanding scenery, peacefulness, and accessibility to local amenities and attractions. It's a perfect base for exploring the highlands and enjoying the nearby beaches.

The cottage is generally regarded as comfortable and restful, with spacious rooms and huge beds. However, a few guests found the beds quite hard and the water pressure erratic, which slightly affects the comfort score.

Facilities like the hot tub and secure garden are highly appreciated. Some guests mention a lack of cutlery and crockery, and one noted minimal equipment. The hot tub maintenance is also brought up, but overall, the facilities are well-received.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to score this category. However, the warm welcome and friendliness of the hosts are noted.
