Highland and Transylvania Pods are situated in the heart of the Scottish Highland close to Ben Nevis and Fort William and within easy reach of all the attractions of the Outdoor Capital of the UK. An ideal base to explore the area or a stop off when travelling to/from the Isle of Skye. Our cosy garden pod is ideal for couples.

The name of the Pods are given after the place where we live the childhood and continuing our life at present.

Our comfortable en-suite Pod has a small double bed however it is a little bit narrower than a standard double (all bed linen provided). The kitchen area is equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster - crockery, cutlery and towels also provided.

Our shower-room is fully equipped however, due to the curved roof of our pod head room is a bit limited! Tall people beware.

The pods are well insulated, the patio doors and the rear opening window have double glazing and there is electric radiators heating in the kitchen/living area for year-round comfort.

Also, we offer a great breakfast using local produces served in a breakfast room and ready to offer you any information about the local area.

There are three excellent ski centres at Cairngorm near Aviemore, Glencoe and Nevis Range (near Fort William) and all providing accessible walking terrain during the summer months. Climbing, hill walking, mountain biking, all water-based sports and a multitude of other outdoor pursuits are all available. This is especially true around Fort William and Lochaber which promotes itself ‘The Outdoor Capital of the UK’. Golfers are served by glorious links courses like Royal Dornoch.

Fort William it`s only 15 minutes away by car from the Birchabank B&B.

Fort William town center offer you a selection of pubs, restaurants & shops, bus/rail station.
