It provided us with all the comfort we needed after long days of exploring the island. It's also a great (and warm!) place if you just want to spend a day inside. The cottage is well equiped with kitchen items although do make sure you stock up on groceries in Portree or Uig before arriving as it's a bit of a drive to get to nearby towns. We would not hestitate to return and have recommend the place to friends already. The only downside - and I mention this if you might need to work a bit during your stay - is that the internet is spotty. As the cell reception isn't that great in the area either, any 'data intensive' work could be an issue. But emails shouldn't be a problem.

Great location for exploring Skye and very affordable. We did many walks and went wild swimming at Staffin Bay. Would definitely book again.

It was an excellent base to explore all that Skye had to offer. After chilly days exploring it was lovely to come back to Talla Hope to warm up in front of the log burner. The daily visit from the 2 highland cows kept my children entertained and allowed for some amazing photographs! We were all sad to leave!!!!
