The cottage is so fresh, the large open plan living space is so bright with all the windows and patio doors. Situated in Portree it is a short walk from the harbour & shops, there is a lovely walk up behind the cottage.. All on the

A house, where you just say "wow". Modern, new and with one of the best views in Portree. Also the big private parking is perfect. You can reach the local COOP within 5 minutes and there is a nice trail down to Portree. It also has some solar power, which makes your stay eco friendly. Minor issues are the cleanliness (which could have been better - we had to wash the kitchen towels first), the lock on the front door (which is a little bit tricky to lock), and - at least i think so - there is a marten (or another animal) in the roof. It makes some noises all the night, which I remember from a marten we had at home. In any way I would still heavily recommend a stay at this house. We loved it.

Faodil is a lovely home to stay in a good location enabling a quick walk into Portree. The finish is very good and the property is clean and well equipped. Our only comment would be that a mirror near to a electric socket would be useful for hair dryer etc. as currently the only mirrors are in the bathrooms.

This was a beautiful place to stay. It had everything we needed and was only a short walk into town. Very clean. Would definitely recommend.
