Martin & family were great hosts & always around when needed. The place was very clean & tidy, had everything we needed. Amazing views & we were also very lucky to have brilliant weather during our stay. We ate at The Uig Hotel which was fab (pre booking recommended during the summer). If you would like to eat at The Ferry Inn check their website a few weeks in advance because it gets booked up quickly & we never managed to visit. Thereâs also The Galley cafe on the hill which does eat in or take away meals. We had a take out which was extremely good value. All in all a brilliant week away with family. Thanks

The owners were friendly and helpful, and around if you needed them, but otherwise left you alone to enjoy your holiday. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen had plenty of crockery and pans, with a decent hob and oven. Other amenities included an airfryer and microwave. Basically everything you would need was provided, including cleaning stuff. The log burner was a great addition, especially as the weather turned rainy and chilly and there was plenty of hot water. The only slight negative was the shower. If you're tall and large, it would be a challenge, with very limited head space - just something to bear in mind. The garden was large and enclosed and perfect for our two dogs. The conservatory was great for watching the wildlife- so many birds and rabbits. Tip: bring binoculars- I forgot mine. We were extremely comfortable and wouldn't hesitate to book again. And on our arrival we had the best ever cupcakes.

Martin and his family were very friendly and helpful and kept themselves busy keeping the place looking great. There was a very tasty lemon drizzle cake and everything you needed to have a welcoming cup of tea or coffee after a long drive.
