Guests say

Jubilee Cottage in Portree is highly praised for its stunning location, offering peacefulness and beautiful views over the bay. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating owners, comfortable accommodation, and the added delight of wildlife sightings. The enclosed garden is a hit with pet owners, and the thoughtful touches like homemade cakes enhance the welcoming atmosphere.

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it lovely and clean. However, one mention of dog hairs suggests room for improvement, leading to a slightly reduced score.

The location is consistently lauded for its beauty, tranquillity, and proximity to local amenities. The sea views and wildlife sightings contribute to an exceptional rating.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy wood-burning stove. The conservatory is highlighted as a relaxing spot, affirming a high level of comfort.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being described as fully equipped and having everything needed. Some minor suggestions for improvements like faster internet and a hairdryer prevent a perfect score.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident through the frequent mentions of homemade cakes and biscuits. While these treats are greatly appreciated, it's important to note that such personal touches, though common, cannot be guaranteed for every stay.

Location was perfect for us as our need was rural and peaceful and the cottage fit the bill perfectly. FacIlities were excellent and the cottage was clean and had all home comforts. The view from the conservatory was amazing and I spent many hours sitting and enjoying the view and the animal life in the garden with birds and bunnies. Can’t wait to return
