Situated on the Isle of Skye, in the crofting village of Harlosh, overlooking Camas Ban, which is a lovely sheltered bay on Loch Bracadale, Harlosh Island and the headland beyond, which you can enjoy fabulous views of from Stewartfield.

The area has much to offer, with superb walking opportunities including The MacLeod Tables, Coral Beaches, Neist Point, The Maidens and, of course, the Cullin Hills, for the more experienced walkers/climbers. The village of Dunvegan is only a short drive away where you find local stores, fuel station, post office, pubs, restaurants, the Giant MacAskill Museum and the historic Dunvegan Castle, where you can take boat trips out to see the seal colonies on Loch Dunvegan. Talisker Bay, Glenbrittle Beach, Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery on the Minginish peninsula, are all short drive away.

Portree, the bustling main town, is where you can take a stroll down to the harbour and watch the fishing vessels unload their catch of the day. Alternatively take a sea trip to see the varied sea and bird life and also enjoy the beauty of the rugged coastline. To the north of Portree is the Trotternish Peninsula which boasts some of Skye’s most stunning scenery. To the south of the island is Broadford, with the southern tip called ’The Garden of Skye’, where you can visit the ruins of Armadale Castle and its lovely gardens.
