It is a good base to explore all parts of the island which has so much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast; hill walking, fishing, boat trips, kayaking, pony trekking as well as the opportunity to discover the many craft/art galleries for a more relaxing time and to be awestruck by the dramatic scenery, so come and enjoy! Great property, me and my husband loved it and our dog was very happy with the amount of space. Kitchen is very well equipped, we loved the little tv room upstairs it was great for a night time chill.In a very good location to explore the rest of the island. We loved walking to the shore at the back of the property and doing some rock pooling. Make sure to stand outside when it’s a clear night as the stars are amazing 🤩

"Hygge" certainly lived up to its name providing comfort and cosiness during what was a sometimes wild and windy Skye. Well equipped with everything we needed and more. Sitting in the rocking chairs watching the ever changing views was so relaxing and it was great to come back "home" after walks and trips out.Ralph was extremely helpful and all the information provided was really helpful. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hygge and would love to return someday.
