The Moray Firth makes a superb holiday base be it for enjoying all Scotland's culture with Castles, Historic Houses and sites all nearby, don't miss Culloden Battlefield only 10 miles or so together with the Highland Capital, Inverness. For those looking to enjoy outdoor pursuits, Skiing, Snowboarding, Pony Trekking, Mountain Biking, White Water Rafting & other water sports are available at Aviemore and The Lecht offers snow sports and Mountain Biking opportunities, both are within a 45 minute drive.

The area is famous for wildlife with dolphins easy to spot in the Firth, take a picnic to North Kessock, enjoy the sunset on one of the benches and watch the jumps going on with the flood tide.
