We really enjoyed our stay at Rattagan. The view is outstanding & we couldn't stop looking at the ever changing colours as the weather changed. Cottage is very comfortable & well equipped also is nicely presented. My only gripe is that we were disappointed that the bedding had not been ironed. It had been dried in a tumble dryer & clearly just left in a complete crumpled mess. Although it was clean it wasn't very inviting getting into a bed which looked as though 6 other people had slept in it. If that could be improved on the property would be perfect.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Ratagan Lodge. We did not want to leave! The lodge was lovely and comfortable and had everything we needed. The views from every window are spectacular over stunning Loch Duich to the five sisters of Kintail. Our favourite place to sit was the gorgeous snug area. Blessed with a weeks sunshine and warm days we ate out on the decking morning and evening and were treated to a host of wildlife, sea eagles, porpoises, seals and sparrowhawks. The lodge is in a super location to explore the area, Eilean Donan, Skye, Plockton, Glenelg Ferry were a few we visited. Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful property with us we will definitely be back.

The cottage is worth every penny for the view alone - both from the veranda and from the window seat I christened my 'reading nook'. Stunning to wake up to every day. Very peaceful and friendly locals. It was about half and hour to the nearest supermarket and a fair drive to most of the usual sites in the highlands, except Eilean Donan Castle which is close and well worth a visit. House itself was very clean and comfortable. If I was going to be holidaying in that area again, I would choose Ratagan Lodge.
