The south facing view from the lounge is towards the Beauly Firth and Inverness, where during the summer, boats can be seen passing as they head for the entrance to the Caledonian Canal.

Loch Ness (and it's monster) is 20 minutes by car and boat cruises are available from Inverness. If you would like to venture a little further Ullapool and Gairloch lie to the West, where the scenery is stunning.
