A contemporary lakeside cottage in the scenic village of Invermoriston in the Scottish Highlands. With panoramic views of Loch Ness, this cottage is perfect for families and groups of friends who wish to enjoy this world renowned area of Scotland. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen retains traditional features, with exposed beams and a welcoming woodburning stove by the large dining table. The sitting room is relaxed and warming, decorated in neutral colours with comfortable sofas, a TV and complete with an open fire. Downstairs there is also two cosy, calming bedrooms complete with TVs and astonishing views of Loch Ness. The upstairs of Guisaichean is under a low sloping ceiling, which boasts two well-appointed bedrooms and the best views of the surrounding area. To the outside of the cottage is a large lawned garden and decked seating area where you can admire the views of the Loch with a refreshing drink. Invermoriston is home to the famous Loch Ness as well as other incredible scenery and a range of walking paths, restaurants and a cafes. Why not visit the beautiful city of Inverness which sits under 30 miles away, and offers a greater range of restaurants and cafes. An impressive cottage in a beautiful location, Guisaichean can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Invermoriston is situated just above the south end of Loch Ness, in the heart of the Great Glen. The village is famous for St. Columba's Well, and offers events like ceilidh nights in the village hall. The 73-mile long walking path, The Great Glen Way, passes through the village, and is just one of the many trails and walks awaiting visitors to this spot. Following the main road close to the village takes you to the Isle of Skye, or of course you could stay closer to home and do some monster-spotting, visit the ruins of the 16th century castle Urquhart, or enjoy the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre.The Caledonian Canal runs to Fort Augustus, offering lovely canalside walks. The perfect location for the whole family.
