Loch Linnhe offers stunningly wild scenery and plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family. Whether you enjoy simply walking alongside the sea and taking in the views, or prefer something more active, this is the ideal location. Heading north to Fort William (15 miles), which sits beneath Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, you will discover several outdoor activity centres. From the adrenalin rush of white water rafting to spotting golden eagles on a leisure cruise on the loch, there is something for everyone. A unique way to enjoy the stunning natural landscape is by steam train enjoy a nostalgic ride on The Jacobite from Fort William to Mallaig to take in the magnificent views. Alternatively, take one of the many boat trips available on the loch sit back and relax and watch out for dolphins, seals, red deer and golden eagles. Enter this pretty, whitewashed cottage through the front door and you will find yourself in a lovely open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area.
